Utah County, UT – Police Identify Victims of Fatal Helicopter Crash

Utah County, UT (May 21, 2019) – Authorities have identified the victims of a fatal helicopter crash that took place in Utah County on Friday and led to the loss of life in two victims.

The parties were identified as a married couple who were both 32 years old. The accident took place when they were flying in their helicopter and suddenly crashed in the mountains above Alpine for reasons unknown.

The couple had been traveling west from the Vernal Regional Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Utah officials started searching for the helicopter after a relative called it in and said that they never arrived at their destination.

Police quickly discovered that the couple was killed in the accident after crashing in the dangerous and rugged terrain. The accident investigation continues at this time.
