Utah County, UT – 2 Killed In Deadly Rollover Crash On US-6

Utah County, UT (July 31, 2019) – Officials of the Utah Highway Patrol have confirmed that two have died in a deadly rollover accident on US-6 in Utah County. The incident took place on Friday, July 26th, in the evening near 8:30 p.m. 

The crash took the life of two men, aged 31 and 29, from Tuba City, Arizona, according to local officials. The men were traveling east on US-6 in a tan Chevy Silverado near milepost 206.3

According to witnesses at the scene, the vehicle began to spin out and left the roadway on the right side. The truck rolled down 150 feet into an embankment below. It was noted that the roadway was slippery at the time of the accident. 

Both men were ejected in the rollover. It is unknown who was driving the vehicle at this time. 

One man died at the scene and the other died in transport to the hospital. 

It is not believed that intoxication was a factor in the crash.

The cause of the rollover is under investigation.
