Vernal, UT- Hit-And-Run Accident On US-40 Leaves One DeadUtah Legal News
Vernal, UT (March 11, 2019) – According to police, 30-year old Joshua Beasley was driving down US-40 in Vernal around 5:30 a.m. when his Chrysler Sebring crossed over the center median. His vehicle was then struck by an eastbound GMC Denali.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they attempted to revive Beasley, but unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter.
The two men in the Denali fled from the scene of the accident and were apprehended a short time later by the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office and Vernal Police Department. The two men were arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
