Wasatch County, UT – *UPDATE* Victims Identified As Esteban Rivas-Dimas And Pascual Navarro In Fatal US-40 CrashUtah Legal News
Wasatch County, UT (March 8, 2019) – On Wednesday, a fatal accident took place on US-40 involving a Ford Expedition and a snow plow. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident, which occurred around 3:15 p.m., was the result of snowy and icy road conditions.
The driver of a Ford Expedition lost control of his vehicle, causing it to slide sideways into oncoming traffic before striking the front portion of a Utah Department of Transportation snowplow traveling westbound down the road. The accident resulted in two deaths.
The victims in this crash have been identified as Esteban Rivas-Dimas, of Roosevelt, and Pascual Navarro, of Mexico. Our deepest condolences go out to the Rivas-Dimas and Navarro families as they deal with their tragic losses.
Two other passengers were injured in this accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to these victims as they begin their recovery processes.
