Washington County, UT (February 23, 2019) – On Sunday, police responded to a two-vehicle accident that took place on Interstate 15 and led to injuries in at least one party.
The Utah Highway Patrol responded to the accident and said that a vehicle had been heading down the highway and was involved in an accident. Then, another vehicle came upon the scene and started to slow but the vehicle behind them was not able to stop in time, causing a rear-end collision.
Police say that a variety of victims might have received non-life-threatening injuries in the accident. Officials believe that the person who caused the rear-end accident had been speeding at the time.
An investigation into the matter continues at this time.
