Washington, UT (June 16, 2019) – Statements from police combined with witness accounts confirm that a collision that took place on W. Telegraph St in Washington City resulted in the hospitalization of two involved parties. The incident happened on Friday, June 14th, at around 2 p.m. in the afternoon.

The two vehicles involved were described as a black Toyota Tundra and a gray Ford Escape.

The Tundra was leaving the parking lot of a Walmart on W. Telegraph St. when the driver struck the Ford which was entering the lot. The collision caused the Tundra to veer off and run into a utility light pole located within a gravel median.

First responders closed off the roadway following the incident.
