West Jordan, UT – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 7800 S at 2000 W

West Jordan, UT (June 21, 2019) – The West Jordan Police Department reports that a motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with another vehicle on Sunday evening, June 16th. The approximate time of the crash was around 12:50 a.m. at the intersection of 7800 S. and 2000 W.

The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old resident of West Jordan, struck another vehicle that was leaving an apartment complex while traveling west on 7800 South.

He was taken to Intermountain Medical Center where he later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old woman, was taken into custody under suspicion of DUI.

The deceased was wearing a helmet while operating the motorcycle, but witnesses say he was traveling at a fast speed.

The crash is still currently under investigation at this time.
