West Valley City, UT (February 27, 2019)- Just after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, the West Valley City Police Department reported to a car accident on Redwood Road, at 2200 South. The accident occurred in the overpass and resulted in a blockage of the center lane.

Police offers and first responders worked diligently to clear away the scene of the crash. Those injured received medical attention and were transported to an area hospital for treatment, although the number of victims involved and the extent of their injuries have not been made public.
