West Valley City, UT (March 22, 2019) – Utah Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash just after 5 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

The accident occurred on the Westbound side of SR-201 just after Redwood Road. As a result of the crash, the right lane along SR-201 was partially blocked, causing a delay in traffic heading west.

At least one person was injured in this accident and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment to their injuries. At this time, no further information is available, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
