West Valley City, UT – Driver Of Motor Home In Accident On 3500 South Identified As Oliver ByarsUtah Legal News
West Valley City, UT (March 13, 2019) – On Monday, West Valley City Police responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident.
According to police, the driver of a motor home traveling east on 3500 South crossed over the center median before crashing into four other vehicles along the roadway, drove up onto a sidewalk, and crashed into a power pole along 4000 West. One individual was injured in this crash.
The driver of the motor home jumped out of the vehicle and fled by foot. On Tuesday evening, police arrested the driver of the motor home, who has been identified as 52-year-old Oliver Byars, of West Valley City.
Byars was charged with being involved in a hit-and-run crash causing injury, driving with an open container of alcohol, driving without insurance, and driving on an expired license.
