West Valley City, UT – Fatal Vehicle Accident On I-215 Results In Injury Near 3000 SouthUtah Legal News
West Valley City, UT (May 31, 2019) – There have been reports of a fatal vehicle accident that resulted in the death of one of the drivers. The accident in question took place in the late evening of Friday, May 24th. Officials were alerted to a car fire on I-215 at around 10:47 p.m.
The driver of a silver Suzuki Forenza was stopped in the middle lane due to a presumed vehicle malfunction.
A silver Honda Accord made contact with the vehicle when changing lanes, causing the Suzuki to burst into flames while spinning into a nearby lane.
This resulted in the death of the driver of the Suzuki who was the sole passenger.
The driver of the Honda only received minor injuries.
The accident resulted in prolonged closures of the roadway.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
